Data we collect

When you submit the contact form we receive your name, email address, selected engagement, optional period-end date, and message content. Server logs may collect IP address, browser type, and pages visited. If you accept analytics cookies, aggregated usage data may be collected as described on our cookies page.

Purposes

We use this information to respond to estimate requests, prepare proposals, perform contracted documentation work, improve the website, and meet legal obligations.

Legal bases

Where applicable under Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act and related rules, we process data based on your request to take steps toward a contract, our legitimate interests in operating the practice, consent for optional analytics cookies, and legal compliance.

Retention

Inquiry records are kept up to 24 months unless an engagement begins, in which case records follow the retention period in the engagement letter (typically seven years for working-paper related correspondence). Analytics data, if enabled, is retained according to the provider’s settings, generally 14 months or less.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with service providers who host email or site infrastructure, with professional advisers under confidentiality, or when required by law.

International transfers

If a provider stores data outside Taiwan, we take reasonable contractual and technical steps appropriate to the transfer. By submitting an inquiry you acknowledge that responses may transit networks outside Taiwan.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, and you may withdraw cookie consent at any time. Security

We apply reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect data. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive identifiers through the contact form.
